Not a scotch for beginners. Multifaceted and well balanced. The burgundy cask performs the waltz with its distilled partner.
It's a bit different from usual releases from Springbank, very sweet and complex whisky and you can tell it's been a full 12 years in a single cask, not a whisky for a beginner. If you can get a bottle get one, even if your not a fan of Springbank this is excellent.
