Seven Stars No.1 Dubhe Whisky

The Spirit of Hven distillery was the first to produce an island single malt whisky in Sweden, with the island of Ven or 'Hven' being situated in the Öresund Strait between Denmark and Sweden. Established in 2008, it is also only the third legal pot still distillery ever built in Sweden. Dubhe is named after the second brightest star in the Big Dipper, and is the first of 7 limited edition whiskies they plan to release over the next 7 years. Maturation takes place in American, Spanish and French oak, no chill filtration takes place and each product is bottled by hand, numbered and signed.
