Speyside 26yo TBWC Bottling Note

26 year old single malt from the Speyside distillery, independently bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The Speyside distillery resides in the Speyside region, and produced Speyside whisky - Speyside whisky from Speyside in Speyside. At some point, if you repeat a word enough, it begins to lose all meaning and just sounds like a bunch of syllables mashed together. Speyside is that now.

Batch 3 is a release of 576 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Apple strudel, topped with brown sugar and cinnamon. After that, more desserts - lemon meringue pie and chocolate tart, namely.

Palate: Heavy layers of honey, strawberry jam and Nutella. A touch of oily barley underneath it all.

Finish: Clove and ginger appear on the finish.
