Speyside 7 Year Old 2015 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
We're big fans of The Speyside Distillery, and we've been looking forward to the day that this single malt reached bottling time. That day came in 2022, seven years after distillation, when we cracked open the hogshead in which it dwelled and unleashed a total of 548 bottles. At this price, we can't imagine we'll be in possession of that many for long.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fragrant florals with citrus blossom and light, fruity tea, warm sourdough, and buttered shortbread. A touch of apricot fromage frais and candied pineapple come later.
Palate
Creamy, zesty key lime pie, yoghurt-coated raisins, and soaked oats are accompanied by sugared orange zest and butter biscuits.
Finish
Fresh peach, plum, and apricot linger, with plenty of buttery fudge and poached pear. Soft spices rest elegantly beneath.
