Description
From the wonderful Thompson Bros. indie bottling selection comes a 26 year old single malt from the Speyside Distillery! It was distilled back in 1994 by the distillery that shares its name with the prolific Scotch whisky region in which it resides, and bottled over quarter of a century later, with an outturn of just 121 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Gingerbread and floral barley, with a hint of chocolate truffle in the background.
Palate
Treacle and marmalade, with a touch of blackcurrant growing underneath. A drying hint of oatcakes.
Finish
Honey, shortbread, maybe a hint of five-spice.
