Sherry

From the wonderful Speyside Distillery comes this single cask single malt! It was distilled back in March 1996 and then left in a single first-fill sherry butt for the foreseeable future. There it stayed for over two decades, and when the whisky turned 23 years of age, Claxton's cracked open the cask and bottled up the liquid inside. A limited 303 bottles were released at a generous 57% ABV.
Toffee apple and candied walnut, with cinnamon French toast and vanilla fudge.
Maple syrup and rich praline, barley sugar, berry compote and dark chocolate shavings.
Orange marmalade and dark chocolate-dipped ginger.

Just bought this whiskey. All i can say is "what a taste"!!
Best I’ve ever bought. Paid £121, (most I’ve ever paid for a bottle of whisky) and already looking for another bottle! I’ve had the bottle for 5 weeks but so hard to say “No” once you’ve got a taste.
