Single cask single malt here from the Speyside distillery (in Speyside, obviously), which slumbered in a hogshead cask for 22 years. It was distilled in April 1994 and bottled in May 2016 at 58.2% ABV by Càrn Mòr for their Celebration of the Cask range. 175 bottles were produced.
Caramel, peppery oak, fresh cream, a little flamed orange peel.
Powerful honey sweetness develops, coffee and cider apples later on.
A long, barley-rich finish.
Sweet and spicy, citrus and pepper. Really love the complexity of this one. The flavor changes *completely* if you add a few drops of water, bringing the pepper to the front.
