Released for the Spirit of Speyside 2021 whisky festival, this is an eight year old SPEY single malt Scotch whisky, which was distilled in 2013 and matured in an ex-bourbon cask until April 2021. It was bottled at a robust 60% ABV, with only 300 bottles produced.
Nose: Toasted marshmallow, grilled pineapple, oily malt, and apricot jam on toast.
Palate: Jasmine tea, honeydew melon, creamy vanilla, green apple.
Finish: Still packed with orchard fruits and floral barley freshness.
