best whisky ever

i loved cu dhub and beinn dhub is also a love it hate it whisky. Its not got a strong liqorice flavour as some reviewers here and elsewhere have posted its subtle, its just that if you like traditional whiskys this “off” the cuff one throws you!Its not like normal whiskys which is a good thing.
Also consider that this heir to the original (now is so rare it goes for five figure sums and is now influencing many whiskys and rums!) is now going up in price, but never seems to stop getting bad reviews…. give it a chance you can always take it to a christmas party as a regret bottle!!

Avoid at ALL cost

Somebody dropped a bag of liquorice on the campfire, doused it in water (or petrol?) and bottled the result for a laugh. Utterly gobsmacked at how abysmal this tastes.
