Beinn Dubh (pronounced 'Ben doo' and meaning Black Mountain) is a thick, incredibly dark whisky produced at the Speyside distillery.
Caramel, toasty, soy, walnut and burnt raisins.
Almost like cold coffee with dark brown sugar, vanilla and dried fruit.
Toffee and chocolate malt.

Excellent whiskey. Smooth beautiful finish.
Surely everybody knows that the dark color comes from artificial caramel color E152.
I expected something very peaty from the colour. I was happily proven wrong. The flavour reminds me of home made gingerbread.
One of the best whisky's I have tasted. A present from my Son which I really appreciated and enjoyed immensely.
This is a very thick whisky with a chocolate and toffee taste to it. The color and consistency of it resembles a wonderful tawny port, an then the whisky taste hits your palate. Wonderfully confusing and delightful. I would advise that you only use a small glass, lest you get quite inebriated - it wants you to take another sip, and another, and another..
