Beinn Dubh (pronounced 'Ben doo' and meaning Black Mountain) is a thick, incredibly dark whisky produced at the Speyside distillery.
Caramel, toasty, soy, walnut and burnt raisins.
Almost like cold coffee with dark brown sugar, vanilla and dried fruit.
Toffee and chocolate malt.

having bought previous black whiskys and drunk many of them this isnt the best one ive tasted cu duhb takes that crown this is still a nice whisky….. considering that the original goes for tens of thousands and is now quiet rare, you have to wonder how these love it hate it whiskys ever get made……but the reviews never seem to kill this whiskys sale….. gorgeous and always nice to see it do so well

It would be fun if it was half the price. It makes a good aperitif. It is otherwise inauthentic, and indifferent. Be warned.
Awful smell and taste, I will parfume drink red label, anytime ouat is awful whiskey.
I have finally found a scotch whisky I do not like. I expected this dark whisky to explode with flavors. Instead, it is flat and tastes like water used to wash out the barrels.
