Speyburn 18 Year Old

This stunning Speyburn was matured in American oak and Spanish oak casks for 18 years before being bottled at 46% ABV. This bottling is dedicated to Speyburn’s distillery manager Bobby Anderson, as in a happy coincidence 2018 is his 18th year at the distillery.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Rich toffee, sugar coated almonds and sweet, fresh tropical fruits alongside toffee apples and whispers of smoke.

Palate Luxurious melted dark chocolate, balanced by a hint of citrus and a touch of oak spiciness.

Finish Very smoky, long and slightly bittersweet.

Go on - you know you want to!
Wow! I could wax lyrical about this whisky, how it beguiles the senses, and bedevils your tongue, but it's so much better than I could describe! Perfect balance of sweet, and bitter, with a delightful smoky finish. Buy it, tell yourself you deserve it, then savour every dram!
