Speyburn 10yo 2008 #12764

Another release from Douglas Laing's wonderful Provenance series, this bottle of Speyburn was distilled in 2008. After a decade in a single refill hogshead, 2018 rolled around and the single malt was bottled, with an outturn of 384 bottles. A fantastic Speyside whisky, this.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Sweet, honeyed barley, zingy lemon curd, vanilla ice cream and fresh, buttery croissant.

Palate A good drizzle of honey, a kick of ginger, buttery gingersnap biscuits and candied fruit.

Finish Creamy milk chocolate digestives and a good helping of wood spice.

I've been really good, can I have
