Single cask Speyburn, distilled in October 2006 and bottled 10 years later in October 2016. This was matured in refill Sherry butt #173 before being bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for their Cask Strength range. Yummers.
Nose: Corinth raisins, liquorice, chocolate biscuits and Turkish Delight.
Palate: Cereal and brandied cherries. A hint of wine-like richness developing alongside brown sugar.
Finish: Stewed peach, golden syrup and red grape.
