Bradan Orach is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, the very best kind of salmon. A no age statement Speyburn, named for the River Spey, a great spot for salmon fishing.

Nose

Fruity, malty. Orchard fruits, blossom, hints of light citrus, creamy.

Palate

Fruity and balanced. Lots of creamy vanilla, hints of spice. Oak.

Finish

Quite long, oak, spice.

Sophisticated palette

Nose: Honey dew and fruits hide lovely vanilla undertones. Palette: The flavours melt with vanilla freshness controlling the fruitiness. There is a lovely dryness on the palette with spicy undertones. The flavour dances off the tongue.

Delicious

Bought on a whim. Under 30 dollars. Speyside no less. Worth the gamble for sure. The fruit is delicious. A little sharp on the tongue but not for long. Makes a great everyday whisky.

SPEYBURN

The clue is the 'no age' statement. Needs more time in the cask. A bit thin in body/taste. A drop of water does help release the vapours. Having said all that, for the price (especially if further discounted) an acceptable quaff.

good choice for this price

Soft pleasant whiskey with a pleasant light aftertaste. I'm afraid to be biased because I love Speyburn whiskies.

Noce product

Good whiskey for the price. I like it very much and the young taste it has is everything that i love in singlemalt whiskey. It can be little rough but sure i am too.
