    No thank you

Must had bought a bad batch... or you’re folks describing different scotch. Not much to offer but sweetness & rough

A true bargain in a world of confusing options.

Love it. Very good quality at a very affordable price.

    A surprising belter!

I picked this up out of a curiosity for exploring less expensive bottles. This one had an unassuming label and a less than welcoming straw color. I was nonetheless very pleasantly surprised at the quality that lie beneath. It's certainly a young whisky, so it's going to sting a bit. No way around that. Unless you sherry bomb the thing. So pour some water in and give it time to open up. It will not disappoint. Many of the reviews are spot on. The only 10 year old I can think of this good would be the Tamdhu. The only single malt I can think of this good for less money would be Glen Moray, but they sherry theirs, which I consider cheating in a head to head. It appears everyone has figured out that trick. I'd like to try a sherry bomb from Speyburn!

Judge with your mouth, not your eyes !

I too am a Scot from Scotland and yes, there's no 'E' in whisky !!. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this malt. Add some water, let it sit in the glass, give it at least 30 mins. It's fruity, aromatic, complex and fairly smooth and overall damn tasty. Keep an open mind, forget the price and be patient with it in the glass. It will reveal its self to you. Don;t get snooty about it. This is a fine dram. Note to people not experienced, some whisky has peat, some none and some a little. There is no right or wrong, only different

Vey good Highland. Greatest scotch value or whiskey value sold.

Excellent Highland scotch. Not too peaty nor too smokey. The right amount of spice and malt. When you factor in price, there is not a better Highland. If this sold for $45 to $60 a 750, it would be highly acclaimed. When the local high end liqore store had a pricy scotch tasting test, they offered a blind sample of speyburn 10 and it was one of most liked samples against Highland scotches in the $40 to $80 range.
