Smokey Joe
A blended malt made up of different Islay single malt whiskies. We're not sure which ones, exactly, but we do know that it tastes delicious!
An immensely fruity nose with note of melon and pear with peat smoke lurking behind. The palate retains the big fruity flavours of the nose with the smoke roaring in. This is an intensely satisfying Islay malt, well worth a try.

I love this whisky. Definitely Islay. In your face. Thank you, I am impressed.
excellent scotch for the price. smoother than laphroig.
Second try...Honey butter on toast pear and melon. Buttery cooked fruit Smoky palate some tar and fire pit and spice finish that goes on and on. I am a long time single malt scotch drinker not easily impressed with blends but since my palate has settled on islay this blend will now sit next to cask islay and dunbheagan which are equally impressive islay blends.
Laguvalin in nature. Less iodine but long Smoky spicy finish. Great value at $36. Two of these for the price of a laguvalin 16.
The nose is meaty, coleslaw salad, alot of smoke, a bit earthy and melon as well. It has a mellow taste of coleslaw salad, not as much as you get from some octomore (therefore I think bruichladdich is one of the whiskies) I also think Lagavulin is there becouse of the meatyness. Wow, what a blend. I can't get that this is in the same price catagory as Ileach and Macleod's Islay.
