“When I first tasted this I thought I had made a bad mistake rough, sour and acrid and gave half the bottle away to friends who liked it a great deal. A month later I gave some to another friend and poured myself about half a dram… I couldn’t believe it was the same whisky. Sweet oily smokey peat a little rough but had smoothed out by the finish which is long flavoursome and memorable. I can only think my palate was initially affected by something I’d eaten, or that the oxygen in the bottle after opening fir a month had a cosmic effect on the contents. Will buy another bottle as soon as this is consumed. Lovely stuff. ”

A blended malt made up of different Islay single malt whiskies. We're not sure which ones, exactly, but we do know that it tastes delicious!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
An immensely fruity nose with note of melon and pear with peat smoke lurking behind. The palate retains the big fruity flavours of the nose with the smoke roaring in. This is an intensely satisfying Islay malt, well worth a try.
