This interesting release from Sweden's Smögen distillery is their first triple distilled single malt! It was distilled in March 2011 and aged in Sauternes barriques until January 2017, when it was bottled with an outturn of 882 bottles.
Chocolate and red chilli, rye bread, intense raspberry and cooked apple.
Creamy vanilla and toasted sugar. BBQ char, raisins and another helping of chocolate.
Long and smoky, with a touch of salted caramel.
