Description
It's That Boutique-y Whisky Company's first ever bottling of Bavarian single malt whisky! This was distilled by Slyrs in Schliersee, and matured for 3 years before the Boutique-y bunch bottled it up. The label features an Oktoberfest beer hall with a big ol' boat and a whole crowd of people enjoying Bavarian beers - and whiskies! The Slyrs Head Distiller can be seen chatting to a very familiar-looking chap in the crowd - "Bist du der Whisky-Mixer?"
This is a release of 691 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla custard, Mr. Kipling's Bramley Apple Pies, stewed plums and some dried hay.
Palate
Fragrant barley, crème brûlée, oat biscuits, lemongrass and some Sichuan pepper.
Finish
Cinnamon and ginger, with a little stone fruit sweetness right at the end.
