Siren Bay
18 Year Old Whisky
Customer Rating
“This is a lovely little malt, but I'd certainly never call it heavily peated. I would also call out all those who think it's from one of the islands, it's not......it's definitely as described a Highland Peated Malt..... At this price point & at 18 year old I suspect this may come from Loch Lomond”

Description
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Salty sea spray, preserved plums, and lemon shortbread join waves of herbaceous, tarry peat smoke. A smidge of wood polish and first-aid box murmur beneath.
Palate
Soft, creamy notes of vanilla tablet soon give way to robust, vegetal peat. There are coastal notes of charred samphire, backed by custard tarts, and baked, spiced apples.
Finish
Salted toffee, rich oak spice, grilled stone fruits with a sprinkle of pepper, meaty malt, and layers of pungent peat smoke.
