This 14-year-old single malt hails from an undisclosed Orkney distillery (not hard to narrow down). Bottled as part of Signatory’s 100 Proof Edition series, it was distilled in 2010 and matured in a combo of first-fill oloroso sherry butts and bourbon hogsheads. Bottled in 2025 at a powerful 100 Proof (57.1% ABV) without chill-filtration or additional colour, this single malt brings together rich dried fruit, gentle peat smoke, and maritime influence.
Dark berries, sea salt, and a wisp of heathered smoke.
Rich sherried fruit, honeyed malt, and subtle peat, with warming oak spice.
Long, smoky-sweet, with lingering dried fruit and coastal brine.
