Soft vanilla notes up front, joined by sweet red fruit (think cherry and sugary raspberry).
Orange oil and chocolate, fresh barley and toasty oak.
Fresh plum and white grape. Cereals and chocolate biscuits.
Vanilla and fruit on the nose, but sadly underwhelming on the palate.
Very disappointing. This was my first taste of a Japanese whisky and was expecting some far better. It's rough and burns on the way down! I'd rate well known high street supermarkets own brand blended scotch above this!
I had high hopes as I love other Japanese whiskies, but I was bay disappointed. It's very harsh, and burns the throat and has little in the way of subtle flavours. Would be ok if it was £20 cheaper.
