    Sheep Dip

A splendid blended malt, Sheep Dip is comprised of over a dozen Scotch single malts that have been matured for at least five years in a variety of first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon, and refill oak casks. Great retro packaging too. The only thing is, the picture of the sheep on the bottle doesn't actually look like a sheep, it actually looks like an angry spaniel with horns.

    Once. Very nice.

Very soft and smooth. A great surprise. Just drove from Utah to Wyoming to buy it and they didn't have it. I'm ready to place an order.

    Worth it.

Not an amazingly unique taste since it is a blend, but very smooth, nice flavor. Would definitly treat myself to a couple bottles if avalable locally.

    A wonderful Scottish whisky.

I bought two small bottles of Sheep Dip in Scotland as a novelty to bring back to the U.S. just before I departed. I'm a beer drinker, but being of Scottish heritage, I found this name appealing. The bottle is from 1984, and so it's almost 35 yrs. old. I keep it as a souvenir of my one and only trip to Scotland, but plan to drink it as soon as I am told I only have a few months to live. I don't know anything about the character of Scotch whisky to differentiate one good one from a bad one. My great grandfather who came from Scotland to the US around the turn of the last century was a 'teetotaler' so I get no help from him. Scotland Forever!
