From House of MacDuff comes the third batch of Selkie blended malt Scotch whisky, designed to be a blend that both beginners and connoisseurs alike will appreciate. This contains a combo of peated Highland Malts, predominantly from ex-bourbon casks, bottled at 50% ABV without any chill-filtration.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Grassy peat smoke drifts through creamy vanilla, poached pears, and a little marzipan.
Palate
Delicate lemon and salted caramel with singed heather shrouded by bonfire embers.
Finish
Oak char and a touch of ginger.
