Scapegrace Fortitude
A New Zealand single malt here from Scapegrace, made with Manuka-smoked Laureate barley and aged for three years in 100-litre virgin French oak casks. It's a pretty unique dram full of rich fruit, honey, and liquorice.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oak char, earthy vanilla, cranberry, smoked almonds, and liquorice.
Palate
Honeyed pears, allspice, toasted oak, marzipan, and dried fruit.
Finish
Rich and well-spiced.
