Description

A limited edition bottling of Scallywag from Douglas Laing, dubbed The Chocolate Edition! The sherry casks of Speyside whisky that made up this expression were picked for their cocoa-rich flavour profiles, resulting in a gloriously chocolatey expression. Reckon it might do well paired with a good chunk of dark chocolate, we do...

Nose

Chocolate mousse, dates, a hint of honey lending a vanilla note.

Palate

Brown sugar, chocolate peanuts, sultana, a pinch of cinnamon and black pepper.

Finish

Caramelised fruit, coffee bean, and of course, yet more chocolatey richness.
