
The third instalment in Royal Salute's Kingdom Collection takes inspiration from the historic kingdom of Portugal, and was treated to a finish in Colheita Port casks. Composed by Royal Salute's master blender Sandy Hyslop, the bespoke 26-year-old blended Scotch whisky boasts distinct, indulgent notes of sweet berries and spice, with layers of dried fruit and nutty finesse.
Aromas of stewed pears, summer berries, spiced orange, glazed cherries, red liquorice, fig jam, marzipan, cinnamon sweets and nutmeg spice.
Fresh blueberries and orchard fruits, namely plums, are followed by notes of toasted hazelnuts, orange peel zest, lavish, creamy toffee and lively spices of ginger and cardamom.
Sweet, spicy and slightly dry.
