A special Sapphire-coloured edition of Chivas' Royal Salute 21 year old - a superb blend.
Never tasted any whisky like this before reminds me very much of chocolate orange I been a fan o chivas regal for many years but you could get around four bottles for the price o this one not sure if salute works for my palate

Cracking whisky and superbly presented...I would also recommend the Chivas 18yo if you get the chance. It's half the price but tastes superb, although it does lack a velvet bag!
Very distinctive. I get why it may not be everyone's taste but it's ridiculous to compare it to such mundane blends as no age Gold Label. Where I live, Blue Label is almost twice the price, so not really fair comparison. I'm quite an experienced whisky drinker and this one is fair for the price, perhaps a tad overpriced, but you get a nice decanter and not just a glass bottle.
I collect and drink whiskey , I have bought all three 21 year old Royal salute, I bought one sapphire to drink , as a 21 year old blend with a hefty price tag, it pales in comparison to no age statement gold label johnnie walker £40 , and In the rough price bracket no age statement blue label johnnie walks walks all over this , the taste isn't a gift from the gods but the bottles are beautiful in their velvety pouches and ceramic coloured bottles , even black label £20 per 70cl beats the taste on this for richness and smootheness on a blend
