Just been given a bottle of this nectar by my son for my 60th..stunning smooth rich, yet delicate little or no afterburn...just the right amount of sherry and a whiff of peat Canonise the blender JIm SWeeney Motherwell
for the above
Was given the opportunity to try this at some scottish friend's house. It was a retirement present for the wife's father. They must have thought a lot of him because it took me completely by surprise. Beautiful balanced, lovely sweet with orange and peach. With a smoothness I have never experienced from any other malt whisky blended or single. In a word fabulous, the trouble is I don't want to go back to drinking "ordinary" malts after that.
VERY SMOOTH RICH TASTE - NOT TOO PEATY - ONE OF THE BEST
top notch beats most if not all malts
