I have a bottle of Royal Salute in a blue velvet bag, I'd like to sell. What would be a fair price in NYC? I have had it for approximately 25 years.
For a 21 y/o blend this is super harsh. Has a light nose of absinthe which i find repulsive. This is for MIXED DRINKS at best.(this is an insult)
I just bought a bottle of this today and just had a dram, MASSIVE disappointment. It honestly tastes like chivas 12 with a tiny bit more body and flavor, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. Now I just compared it to jonnie walker black, just had some. Johnnie walker black has way more body and flavor compared to this. At 1/3 the price and I feel is a better blend. What I'm trying to say is this, without the fancy packaging, if they charged $40 for the royal salute it would be decent because that's how much I feel its worth, but for over $100 this is a COMPLETE rip off.
