This was distilled at Lochnagar on the 12th April 1991 and it was aged in refill butt 374 before bottling at natural cask strength on the 1st November 2011. A release of 577 bottles from Signatory.
Strong and punchy, with thick malt, pine resin, potpourri and hazelnut. A little tangy apple.
Chamomile tea, honey and malt. A little citrus tang (some lemon zest perhaps), peppermint and salty butter.
Herbal and fruity, malty and spiced.
