Rosebank 26 Year Old - Forgotten Gems
We imagine the Forgotten Gems shelves must be like that dream cave in the BFG, with all sorts of tiny bottles and oddly shaped decanters tucked in every corner, each with a magical liquid glistening within. This particularly dreamy addition to the range consists of just thirteen bottles and hails from the revered, and long-closed Lowlander, Rosebank.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Creamy notes of Caramac and banana bread, musty oak, and pithy citrus, with honeyed almonds and butterscotch.
Palate
Elegant layers of delicate honey, juicy, sweet barley, and crisp apple are backed by candied citrus and old, leathery oak.
Finish
Zesty marmalade, burnt brown sugar, a touch of cedar.
