Douglas Laing's Directors' Cut range contains selected old and rare whiskies, and this is no certainly no exception. Rosebank distillery in the Lowlands of Scotland was mothballed in 1993 and never recommenced production. Since 2010, this has been even less likely, as a load of the equipment was unfortunately nicked. Sad face. Thanks to bottlings like this, however, the liquid lives on. It won't last forever, but we'll sure enjoy it for as long it does! The outturn of this cask was 141 bottles.

One of the best whiskeys I have ever tasted and I have tasted a few? Smooooth and easy on the pallet
