Indie bottlers Berry Bros. & Rudd have selected a rather wonderful cask here, a 4 year old wheated bourbon, from Rock Town Distillery! There was an outturn of 224 bottles from this cask, kept at a hearty cask strength of 55.8% ABV. Awesome stuff, all the way from Arkansas!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Melted caramel and mashed banana, cacao, coffee grounds, and candied orange.
Palate
Floral honey poured over fresh butter croissants. Hints of vegetal earthiness, along with plenty of fresh ripe fruit, apples, plums and soaked sultanas.
Finish
Oak spice, vanilla, and a peppery prickle, hints of cinnamon, anise and cardamom.
