Nose Figs, nuts, dry spices. Then big oak, hints of peppermint, butterscotch and black pepper.

Palate Cocoa, rye spices, buttery toffee, tangy, puckering rye and oak interplay. Sour fruit too.

Finish Walnut, honey, vanilla, toffee, anise, mint, spices.

Overall Incredible. So much character.

Really nice
I've seen mixed reviews on this bourbon, but I really love it. So creamy and smooth on the tongue; it really coats your mouth with so much goodness. The bottle is very pretty, and so is the liquid inside!

Way Too Expensive!
if like me your into Woodford, Bulleit, Makers, Four Roses or even TinCup then this is not for you.
It's comes in a nice bottle but taste wise, we'll just was not me and a bit on the expensive side for what you get!

heaven
great bourbon and largely unknown compared to its buffalo trace counterparts, the spice and vanilla on the palate and rye kick at the finish is brilliant

Underrated bourbon
Comes in a beautiful decanter type bottle with horses running wild on it. The bourbon inside is very worthy of the lovely bottle. Full, awesome nose and body, wickedly smooth finish. After I had several glasses, I thought now that was some damn good bourbon. Extra bottle purchased and put away.
