Description

This single barrel Kentucky rye whiskey is brought to us by indie bottler Roaming Road. Distilled from a high rye mash bill (95%), matured for eight years, finished in an Irish whiskey barrel, and bottled at cask strength, it's a complex, elegant sipper balancing bold spice and rich dark fruit.

Nose

Dark berries, cherries, and plums, rye spice, and a touch of mint.

Palate

Bold, warming spice and rich fruits tangle, with delicate sweetness, charred oak, and vanilla.

Finish

Pepper and chilli flakes bring warmth, balanced by subtle butterscotch and creamy oaken depth.
