A rye whiskey in the Pennsylvania style, this "carries a famous old Philadelphia name". Very tasty and aromatic.
Dried fruits and soft spices. Cocoa and butterscotch, alongside orange peel, cinnamon and caramel.
Thick, fruity palate with chocolate oranges, cassia bark, nutmeg and oak.
Tangy fruit and quite coppery. Marmalade and spice.

Best rye ever.
A lovely tasting Rye, that just needs a little time in the glass. I decanted the Rye several times, and this (in my opinion), really opened up the Rye. There is only One thing I can moan about, and that is the very cheap plastic screw top lid, this lets it down.
Great tasting Rye excellent for manhattans it has a great smooth peach butterscotch I can taste citrus the finish is great and it isn’t annoying. For $25 this can compare with some of the big guns. It’s hands dow. The best Rye $25 and under
spice initially on the ongue but smoothed quickly by the vanilla.. soft spices in a nice finish. very nice rye. struth
...smooth for 50% in a nice lingering soft yet interesting finish. spicy on tongue initially but the soft vanilla and cinnamon takes over very nice, interesting rye
