A rye whiskey in the Pennsylvania style, this "carries a famous old Philadelphia name". Very tasty and aromatic.
Dried fruits and soft spices. Cocoa and butterscotch, alongside orange peel, cinnamon and caramel.
Thick, fruity palate with chocolate oranges, cassia bark, nutmeg and oak.
Tangy fruit and quite coppery. Marmalade and spice.

I am not an experienced whisky taster and not even a fan (I fancy cognac and stirred cocktails), So I am currently just aquiring a whisky experience (tasted a couple of bourbons and scotches). This one is the first rye and first 100 proof whisly, it seems a solid product, I enjoyed sipping it neat and in Old Fashioned or Manhattans.
very simple, no flavors, like cheap cheap alcohol, i will not buy it again.
This is the very best Rye for cocktails, 100% Rye mash, delicious spiciness.
Rittenhouse Rye, A Brilliant drink. If you want to experience a few of the most satisfying shots of your life, then look for Rittenhouse. If there was anything that should add to the satisfying experience of a well made shot of Rittenhouse it is that is is complimented with 100 percent proof. I would suggest that you buy 6 bottles, it will be the best case you ever invest it.
A great 'chewy' rye - a classic. Add no 'pollutants' take it neat (and slow).
