“I now have 3 different bottles that are made from MGP, Indiana 95% rye mash bill "juice". Mine are: Dickel Rye, Ezra Brooks Rye and Rebel Yell Rye. They are all good for the money AND they're all noticeably different. Different enough to be considered distinct whiskies. So please don't think that it's "same" as any other MGP 95/5 rye. I'm enjoying all 3. Ezra was the cheapest for me. I like that Ezra and Rebel Yell specify the age (24 months) - sure, the moniker "straight" pretty much already defines that, but it's transparent, nobody gets to speculate that it's more. With Dickel Rye it doesn't even say "straight", so we are left guessing. I don't know about Bulleit Rye (I don't care what the rumors are or what the website states, only the label counts).”

Nose
There's that spicy rye in place of the wheat off the bat with sweet vanilla and hints of chocolate.
Palate
Woody sultanas, rich warming spice and vanilla.
Finish
Sweet and spicy.
