The Gaelic Whisky Company are renowned for being independent through-and-through and produce whisky for whisky's sake. Rumour has it they are constructing a distillery on the Isle of Skye which will certainly be one to watch! This blend combines peat and brine with some soothing highlights from Speyside.
The aroma amalgamates coastal elements with peat and sherry in a Highland style.
Coffee and salt are very present with a hint of peat and some sweeter notes of caramel in the background.
The finish is hot and spicy and clings on for some time.
This great blended whisky is a challenge and that's a compliment. It forces the drinker to take stock and appreciate its many elements. Superb!

I live in Canada and picked up a bottle for $40 yesterday. For that amount of money and the quality of te bheag is expectional. Can taste the heavy single malt content (40%), if i didn't know it was a blend i wouldn't even be able to taste the grain content, its that good. This is excellently put together. Taste: It tastes very similar to highland park 12, but without the savory bacon flavour and with a lot more smoke on the finish Excellent whisky and value for money, at this price range blows glenfiddich 12/glenlivet 12 out of the water.
A great whiskey, and a tremendous value. I enjoy it as often as possible.
great, i have sipped this for over 30 years
Smoky, balanced, and just a great drinking whisky. Cheap to. This has become my 'go-to.'
Had a pleasure to drink some while on Isle of Skye. It is fantastic blended whisky. Hard to get, but worth it!
