From the Irish Distillers' Powers Irish whiskey range comes the Signature Release, a single pot still expression matured mostly in bourbon barrels, with a helping of Oloroso Sherry cask-matured whiskey bringing notes of chewy raisin, red berry and dark coffee.
Wonderfully smooth and creamy flavours reminiscent of the Glenmorangie 18yr old. A touch of water really brings it’s flavours to the fore.

Powers Gold Label is my go too Whiskey, and Red Breast 12 year old for best. But from now on this will be my special occasion tipple, and I've tried nearly all Irish Whiskey's out there. Slainte.
But a bit less for the buck. I found this to be fairly close in character to Red Breast 12 although tasting a bit younger. Lot;s of nice vanilla from the oak and great pot still character that to me is what I like about Red Breast. I think this might become my regular dram as it's quite a bit cheaper than Red Breast and yet almost as pleasing. Highly recommended. Nice on Ice (Sakes forbid) Nice nice nice!
Very good whiskey, has all the traditional Powers attributes: caramel, spice, oily pot still feel. I like this a lot.
