A single pot still release of Powers whiskey. It's matured in a combination of bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, and named after the distillery where it was first made, now sadly closed.
Barley, copper, fresh oak, leather, and juicy fruit.
Very smooth with vanilla, dry spice, chocolate and coffee. There is dark fruit here too, raisins and blackcurrants.
More vanilla and drying copper notes.
A very well balanced whiskey with not a note out of place. Lovely.

This stuff is really really good. Like gold in a glass if I had to describe it. I'm not usually a Irish drinker, but after reading reviews and seeing the bottle in my local shop I couldn't resist. It is so tasty with such a nice flavor profile. Nose: sweet bourbon, vanilla, chocolates, and oak Palate: smooth, sweet, and savory. The bourbon taste still sticks out to me. Finish: copper, vanilla, and love This is a good whisky. Reason why I didn't give it a 10 is because I am out looking for different flavors. This one reminds me a little of a very well tamed bourbon.
Slowly envelopes you in loveliness.
It is a slightly peppery version of the already outstanding Powers whiskey. Will be on my corn flakes in the morning if I win the lottery.
Really smooth; it has all the subtle sweet kick of a great Irish whiskey and the subtle but full aged bourbon finish. Outstanding whiskey.
Picked up a bottle from Ace Spirits Craft Beer and Whiskey Boutique in Hopkins, MN. Pours a gentle amber color. The nose is loaded with scents of vanilla, spice, and leather. Tastes of vanilla, chocolate, spice, and copper with hints of currants and raisins. Wonderfully balanced, with a bit of a spicy (white pepper?) finish. Mild copper notes and more vanilla express themselves the longer it lingers on your tongue.
