Distilled in 1982, this Port Ellen single malt was left in a single cask for the best part of a quarter of a decade. Douglas Laing bottled it up at 23 years old at cask strength, with the Island whisky weighing in at 55.1% ABV in a release of 121 bottles. Though the distillery closed in 1983, plans are very much under way for its revival, and releases like this just fuel our excitement!
Please note: The clasp on the bottom of the presentation case is broken, but the bottle remains unharmed.
