Port Dundas 8 Year Old (That Boutique-y Whisky Company)
A glorious grain whisky, with a gaggle of grain upon its label! This is the second batch of single grain from the closed Port Dundas distillery bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company, bottled at 8 years old. Expect a hefty helping of vanilla and dried berry notes from this one.
Batch 2 is a release of 521 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Strawberries and cream topped with brown sugar, slightly earthy wood, milk chocolate.
Palate
Richly creamy, with vanilla pod and custard notes by the bucket load. Hints of peppery oak underneath.
Finish
Blueberry muffin, caraway and a pinch of paprika.
