This grand old grain from Port Dundas joins the independent Xtra Old Particular collection from Douglas Laing. The whisky spent a mighty 46 years maturing in a single refill hogshead between 1978 and 2024, when a total of 147 cask strength bottles were released.
Flamed citrus and sweet spices on the nose. Tastes of pineapple toffee, corn oil, and crushed sugar, finishing as an alcoholic vanilla ice cream.
