14-year-old single grain from Port Dundas, independently bottled by Signatory. The whisky was distilled in August 2008 and filled into a pair of second-fill oloroso sherry butts to mature until it was bottled in May 2023, without added colour or chill filtration.
Soft waves of creamy grain, toasted coconut, and caramelised biscuits.
Notes of fluffy pancakes with maple syrup, barley sugar sweeties, crushed almonds, and polished oak.
Gingery spice joins towards the end, while creamy vanilla, summer berries, and buttery oats linger.
Great taste. Possibly the best Grain whisky I've ever had. Nice and smooth. Preferred with one ice cube.
