Bruichladdich

This 10-year-old Port Charlotte was the first of the peated PC bottlings to join Bruichladdich's core range. It is a rich, smouldering dram distilled from malt peated to 40ppm.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Creamy sweet vanilla notes meld with rich, dark, powdering peat and roasted hazelnut. Hints of sherried peels and caramel.
Dark caramel and peat smoke. A wave of dried fruit and candied peels. Tropical fruit, bonfire toffee and walnut.
Dark chocolate digestives and smoked prune juice. Creamy and spiced.

Gorgeous, perfect. Such a beautiful peat smoke with subtle hints of cream vanilla and sweetness. I'll be picking this one up again as soon as i see it.

Nice whisky, quite pleasant. It is not too heavily peated.
Astonishing!
Any reason this, assuming it is Port Charlotte 10 as in the picture, is £25 more expensive than most other retailers?
