A 30 year old single malt from Islay bottled by Speciality Drinks. Port Askaig is a village in the north east of the island, not far from Caol Ila distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Earthy and sweet with tarry rope, tomato vine and vanilla.
Palate
Red apple peel, lemon sherbet and peat smoke.
Finish
That tarry rope tries to hang on amidst pepper and tinned peaches.
Overall
A fruity, green and slightly smoky Islay malt.
