“En fantastisk whisky! Om du är förtjust i Caol Isla 12 yo och Lagavoulin 16 yo kommer du älska denna. Klart bästa whiskyn som jag har provat (har dock inte provat 30 eller 45 åringen i denna serien, ännu). Finns det något annat än Islay whisky förresten?”

Description
Bottled by Speciality Drinks, this is a superb cask-strength, 19 year old single malt whisky from the Port Askaig range. The bottlers will not reveal from which distillery this hails... We can only guess (perhaps it's the one at Port Askaig... Caol something isn't it? I forget).
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh, coastal nose. A little oily, and faintly smoky. The smoke develops over time and becomes rather peaty, with a touch of cranberry too.
Palate
Thick, fruity palate, with notes of peat smoke, a touch of dried banana, biscuity malt and cocoa butter. Very interesting indeed, with an oily mouth-feel.
Finish
Sweet, peaty finish. Dusty and oily.
Overall
Fantastic.
