Port Askaig
Bottled by Speciality Drinks, this is a superb cask-strength, 19 year old single malt whisky from the Port Askaig range. The bottlers will not reveal from which distillery this hails... We can only guess (perhaps it's the one at Port Askaig... Caol something isn't it? I forget).
Just great, loved the 16y so i bought this one. The 19y is just a liiiiiittle bit better then the 16y
En fantastisk whisky! Om du är förtjust i Caol Isla 12 yo och Lagavoulin 16 yo kommer du älska denna. Klart bästa whiskyn som jag har provat (har dock inte provat 30 eller 45 åringen i denna serien, ännu). Finns det något annat än Islay whisky förresten?
Lovely, peaty whisky. Recommended!
A wonderful, balanced Islay malt. There are several layers of taste and the peat strength is just right. Perhaps the first reviewer needs a little mire experience before commenting. There are few whiskies that are 0.5 out of 5.
Sorry I have not tasted this port askaig yet but I'm a fan and have to rate it just cause of the first reviewer..
